Jamera, professionally known as Just J. Art, is a Toronto-based contemporary figurative artist, muralist, and illustrator whose work explores culture, identity, spirituality, and community through symbolic visual storytelling.

Working across acrylic painting, public art, and digital illustration, she creates vibrant works inspired by conversations, lived experiences, her Caribbean heritage, and her faith. Her paintings blend botanical imagery, and fluid organic forms to transform everyday experiences into visual metaphors, while her murals and public art celebrate shared stories and create opportunities for community connection. Across every medium, her work is guided by a commitment to spread light, love, and shift perspectives.

Jamera's work has been commissioned, exhibited, and presented through collaborations with organizations including the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), the City of Toronto, Scarborough Arts, VIBE Arts, Guinness Canada, Worth Gallery, and The City of Brampton. In addition to her studio practice, she facilitates community arts programming, does facepainting, leads public art projects, mentors emerging artists, and creates live illustrations for events.
